As I was heading back home from a quick grocery run, passing through this check point at the market, the driver of this white persona just passed a big pack of masks to the frontliners on duty, the policewoman didn’t know how to react for a second. At this testing time, some hoard masks and think it’s fine to behave as such while some public servants are restoring to poor safety measures for themselves as resources are exhausted. Seeing someone just giving it out freely just gave me a little sense of pride of the community we have here in Langkawi.
